Library Media Services

The mission of the Corley Elementary School Library Media Program is to promote a love and appreciation of reading, to help students become effective users of information and resources, and to provide a diverse collection of materials that will promote academic excellence.

The Corley Elementary School Library Media Center has a collection that includes over 8,200 resource items. Our collection is designed to support the curriculum and provide resources that teach students the skills necessary to be effective users of information, taking into consideration the varied interests, abilities, and maturity levels of the students served. Our library media center aims to be an integral part of reading and instruction through the development of activities that are an extension of classroom work.
